 Erjiegou in Panjin is a small fishing town in the north. I was born and grew up here. This small fishing town carries my happy childhood, and I am still struggling here.

For as long as I can remember, my hometown has been called the Land of Fish and Rice. There are Panjin rice from civilized whole country, Panjin River Crab, which is famous in the north and south of the river, and the most famous seafood in Erjiegou. I remember when fishing for jellyfish, all the fishermen started repairing boats, repairing nets and recruiting temporary workers early. Then eagerly looking forward to the start of jellyfishing. The anxious waiting for many days will dissipate with the continuous shouting of people on the street, and everyone will frantically run to the pier. Standing on the pier and looking from afar, people, vehicles, and boats are swarming like ants, and the spectacular scene of more than a thousand fishing boats going out to sea at the same time has left a deep impression on me to this day. There is passion as well as calm. In normal times, those three or five ships sail away with the roar of the machine, and there are also those three or three captains who return with a full load and a happy face. There are exchanges between the captains on the pier, and there are also bargaining transactions by the hawkers. The scene is so ordinary and hot, and everyone has their own satisfaction.

It was in the 1990s of last century. Although my hometown was very famous for its specialties, the traffic at that time was very poor. There was only one road in our town to the county seat, which was more than 30 kilometers away from us, and the nearest national highway was also 15 kilometers away. . Under this extremely inconvenient traffic situation, our seafood is stranded in large quantities, and our economy cannot develop well. In this way, although we have hard-working fishermen, we are also quietly living an ordinary life.

With the advancement of the national economic policy, the government has built wide avenues for us in recent years. Now the traffic can be said to extend in all directions, the government is attracting investment, attracting many large enterprises, and building Panjin's own port - Panjin Port. In order to ensure the scientific and rational development and utilization of marine resources and protect the marine resources that fishermen depend on for their survival, a ban on fishing during the off-season fishing period has been implemented, so that the sea can be cultivated and fish and shrimps can multiply. Now Erjiegou has become a well-known fishing town. It has more delicious seafood than other sea areas. There is Panjin rice unique to Liaohe Plain, and Panjin Crab, which is famous all over the country.

When it comes to Panjin River Crabs, I have to talk about the unit where I work. Its name is Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Co., Ltd. It is not difficult to see from the name that this is a company that focuses on river crabs. Our company not only has river crabs, but also many aquatic products such as sea cucumbers, Chinese long-armed shrimps, clams, four-horned clams, etc., and Guanghe No. 1 river crab is a new breed of self-cultivation, which sells well in the north and south of the country. From a small private enterprise to the leader of the aquatic industry in the whole city and the whole province, how many people's hearts and sorrows, how many people's hard work, like the waves on the sea, ups and downs, like how many winds and rains the fishing boat has experienced beat. Over the years with the company's hard work and struggle is also my growth experience. Only we Guanghe people can know the swaying of these wind and rain, and only we Guanghe people can enjoy the joy brought by these achievements with a happy smile.

My work place is on the seaside of Erjiegou. In my spare time, I also go for a walk by the seaside, watch the sunset on the sea, and enjoy the red glow of the sky. With the development and progress of society, it has also brought vitality to our town. When I saw the undulating waves on the sea surface, felt the sea breeze blowing, and watched the slowly falling sunset, I forgot the pressure of work and the troubles of life.
