Su Zhaozheng was born in a poor peasant family in Qi'ao Island, Zhuhai in 1885. At the age of 18, he went to Hong Kong to make a living and started his career as a foreign worker. In 1917, the news of the victory of the Russian October Revolution spread quickly among Chinese seamen. Su Zhaozheng had been to Vladivostok and other places with the ship to learn more about the victory of the October Revolution, and had the opportunity to read books on the New Culture Movement and learn the revolutionary theory of Marxism.

In March 1921, Su Zhaozheng, Lin Weimin and others advocated the establishment of the Federation of Chinese Seamen's Unions in Hong Kong. On January 12, 1922, in the general strike held by seamen in Hong Kong, Su Zhaozheng was selected as the director of the general affairs department of the general office of the strike and one of the negotiators.

In March 1925, Su Zhaozheng joined the Communist Party of China. In May of the same year, the second national labor congress was held in Guangzhou. The congress established the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, and Su Zhaozheng was elected as the executive member.

In the provincial-Hong Kong strike that began in June 1925, Su Zhaozheng was unanimously elected by the workers as the chairman of the strike committee and the chairman of the finance committee. Under the leadership of Su Zhaozheng and others, the provincial-Hong Kong general strike lasted for one year and four months, writing a glorious page in the history of the Chinese labor movement.

In January 1926, Su Zhaozheng was elected as the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Federation of Trade Unions at the First National Seamen Congress. On May 1, the third national labor congress was held in Guangzhou. Su Zhaozheng was elected as the chairman of the executive committee of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions and became a leader supported by workers across the country.

After the April 12th counter-revolutionary coup in 1927, Su Zhaozheng attended the Fifth Party Congress held in Wuhan and was elected as an alternate member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee. The 1987 meeting elected a new interim Political Bureau of the Central Committee. Su Zhaozheng was elected as a member of the Interim Political Bureau of the Central Committee. He was elected as a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee together with Qu Qiubai and Li Weihan.

In the spring of 1928, Su Zhaozheng went to the Soviet Union to participate in the Fourth Congress of the Red Workers International and the Sixth Congress of the Communist International. During his stay in Moscow, Su Zhaozheng attended the Sixth Party Congress and was elected as a member of the Political Bureau and Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee.

Long-term arduous struggle and intense work made Su Zhaozheng become ill from overwork. On February 25, 1929, Su Zhaozheng unfortunately passed away. At the last breath of his life, he said to Zhou Enlai and others who came to visit him: "Everyone will work together and work together to achieve the final success of the revolution!"

Cai Hesen, born in Shanghai in 1895, is a native of Shuangfeng, Hunan. In 1913, Cai Hesen was admitted to Hunan Provincial No. 1 Normal School, and later became a classmate with Mao Zedong. In April 1918, Cai Hesen, Mao Zedong and others organized the Xinmin Society, and later founded the "Xiangjiang Review".

In December 1919, Cai Hesen went to France for a work-study program. In France, Cai Hesen "snaply translated" hundreds of books introducing Marxism-Leninism and the Russian Revolution. Cai Hesen believes that in order to save the country and the people, we must take the road of the October Revolution in Russia, and we must establish a revolutionary party. He communicated with Chen Duxiu and Mao Zedong to discuss the establishment of the Communist Party, put forward correct propositions on the nature of the party, guiding ideology and other issues, and became the first person to propose the name of the "Communist Party of China".

During his stay in France, Cai Hesen promoted Marxism among the work-study students; he led the revolutionary struggles of the work-study students three times; together with Zhou Enlai and Zhao Shiyan, he organized the early organization of the Communist Party of China in Europe, and was one of the "founders of the French branch".

In December 1921, Cai Hesen joined the Communist Party of China shortly after returning to China; in July 1922, Cai Hesen was elected as a member of the Central Committee at the second party congress, responsible for the party's propaganda work.

When the May 30th Movement broke out in 1925, Cai Hesen showed his outstanding ability to lead the mass struggle and grew into an outstanding mass leader during the struggle.

At the First Plenary Session of the Fifth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held in May 1927, Cai Hesen was elected as a member of the Political Bureau and Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee, and then concurrently served as Secretary-General of the CPC Central Committee. At the party's August 7th meeting, Cai Hesen supported Mao Zedong's correct views and played an important role in establishing the general policy of the party's agrarian revolution and armed resistance to the Kuomintang reactionaries.

In 1928, at the Sixth National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Cai Hesen summed up the experience and lessons of the early days of the Agrarian Revolutionary War, clarified the possibility of carrying out armed struggle in the countryside, establishing the Red Army, and opening up a situation of separatism, and was elected as a member of the Political Bureau and Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee. In 1931, Cai Hesen went to Hong Kong to guide the revolutionary work in Guangdong and was unfortunately arrested.
