In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the Ministry of Agriculture's "Notice on Launching Demonstration Activity of Healthy Aquaculture Law Enforcement", the Liaoning Provincial Administration of Aquatic Seeds and Seeds held a mobilization meeting on April 27 for the deployment of demonstration activities of healthy aquaculture law enforcement in the province. Provincial Aquatic Seeds Administration and leaders of city and county law enforcement agencies participating in healthy aquaculture law enforcement demonstration activities and heads of relevant departments attended the meeting.  

In accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture to carry out the law enforcement demonstration activities of healthy aquaculture, Liaoning Province has formulated the "Liaoning Province Implementation Plan for the Demonstration Activity of Healthy Aquaculture Law Enforcement". The meeting focused on discussing the specific implementation steps of the "Plan", detailed deployment of work content, and clarified work responsibilities. The meeting required law enforcement agencies participating in demonstration activities to establish a leading group for law enforcement demonstration activities in accordance with the requirements of the "Plan"; to formulate an implementation plan for law enforcement demonstration activities based on the actual situation in the region, and to clarify specific implementation steps and work priorities for law enforcement demonstration activities. Carry out responsibilities; strictly follow the principle of "regulating law enforcement and strengthening services" in law enforcement demonstration activities, and take effective measures to implement each work around the focus of law enforcement demonstration activities at each time period. The meeting emphasized that it is necessary to take this law enforcement demonstration activity as an opportunity to further improve the professional quality, law enforcement level and awareness of serving fishermen of aquatic product quality and safety law enforcement officers in Liaoning Province, and effectively promote and standardize the province's aquatic product quality and safety supervision and law enforcement work.

In the 2012 Law Enforcement Demonstration Activities for Healthy Aquaculture, the Ministry of Agriculture specially selected 9 county-level fishery law enforcement agencies in 4 provinces (cities) of Beijing, Liaoning, Jiangsu and Hunan as law enforcement demonstration units, Xingcheng and Gaizhou in Liaoning Province. The municipal aquatic product quality and safety law enforcement agency is listed as an active law enforcement demonstration unit. (Department of Oceanography and Fisheries of Liaoning Province)
