Couplets, also known as couplets, couplets, couplets, and couplets, originated in the Five Dynasties, flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and have a history of more than a thousand years. It is a combination of literature art and calligraphy art, and it is also an art form with Chinese characteristics.
On the west side of Liaohe Art Museum, the independent small exhibition hall and the nine small museums on the east side were renovated according to museum standards, and all of them were used for the display of couplets and calligraphy. At the same time, combined with the renovation of the natural park outside the museum, some works were selected from the display of couplet calligraphy, and they were carved on the stone steles as they were, standing on both sides of the river in the park, forming an outdoor forest of couplet calligraphy steles, so that the outdoor forest of steles and the indoor pavilion echoed and mirrored each other. It has become the first and largest couplet calligraphy museum in China.
The Chinese Couplet Calligraphy Museum is not only an inheritance of traditional Chinese culture, but also of great academic research value. It is a beautiful scenery in Panjin City and an important carrier for the development of cultural tourism.
