In order to identify the cause as early as possible and find effective prevention methods, the Panjin Municipal People's Government entrusted the Panjin River Crab Industry (Alliance) Federation to initiate a seminar on the prevention and control of river crab disease (milk disease) in northern China.

Associate Professor Ye Shigen gave an in-depth explanation on the etiology, pathogenic characteristics, control methods and diversity of crab-derived yeasts of "milk disease".

      The experts at the meeting exchanged and discussed the scientific research and application of the prevention and treatment of "milk disease" in river crabs.       During the Q&A session, the participants had a full exchange and discussion with experts on the incidence of milk disease, influencing factors, prevention methods and other issues, which deepened the understanding of the majority of crab farmers on milk disease.
