On June 23, 2020, the eve of the Dragon Boat Festival, on an ordinary working day, the employees of Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Co., Ltd. were working in their respective positions as always. At 9:00 a.m., the entry of a white charity bus broke the surrounding peace. It turned out that the staff of the blood station in downtown Panjin arrived. Everyone put down their work and came to the multi-functional classroom on the first floor. On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Party Committee and the Panjin Blood Station organized this voluntary blood donation activity.

A total of 42 people signed up for this blood donation activity. After strict screening, a total of 23 people, including Chairman Li Xiaodong, successfully donated blood.

Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Co., Ltd. is a technology-based private enterprise mainly engaged in the production of river crab seedlings. It has 300 employees, including 102 members of the Communist Party of China, and party members account for more than one third of the total number of the company. The company has always regarded "producing ecological high-quality products and benefiting thousands of households" as the mission of the enterprise, driving more farmers to increase their income and become rich. Over the years, the company has pioneered the ecological breeding of river crabs in earthen ponds through technological innovation, pioneered the cultivation of crabs in paddy fields, and independently developed a new variety of river crabs, "Guanghe No. 1", which has driven the development of the river crab industry in Panjin and even the whole country, and created huge social benefits. Comrade Li Xiaodong, secretary of the company's party committee and chairman of the board, was elected as the representative of the 11th National People's Congress and the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. He has been keen on public welfare throughout his life. He has helped students in need, cared for good people in Dawa, and donated crab seedlings for free. He donates to poor students every year. The amount is about 30,000 yuan, and in 2015, he won the National Moral Model Nomination Award. In December 2019, when the chairman was 54 years old, he successfully donated blood. Today, he once again put down his busy work, devoted love and donated blood. He is the benchmark of Guanghe, and it is also the inheritance of the spirit of public welfare of Guanghe.
