On Saturday, September 15, 2018, "Welcome to the Harvest Festival", sponsored by Panjin Fishing Association and undertaken by Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Co., Ltd. The first Guanghe Crab Industry Wolong Lake Red Beach Reed Sea Crab Fishing Fun Competition" kicked off at the Wolong Lake Scenic Spot in Zhaoquanhe Town. More than 100 people from the surrounding area of Panjin participated in the crab fishing activities.

There were 31 groups of families participating in this crab fishing competition. Most of the contestants came from other cities. They came from Shenyang, Anshan, Liaoyang, Jinzhou, Yingkou, etc. This event not only attracted a large number of photography enthusiasts, even Hunan Satellite TV signed a contract with Shangyu Liu Min, a female fisherman from Liaoyang who was broadcasting live, specially drove to Panjin for the live broadcast to share the joy of fishing crabs in Panjin.

This competition is a family unit, a group of two people, the crab fishing tools are provided by the organizer, and the hookless crab is used. The Crab Theory is only calculated. The two rankings are based on an inverted point system. Each game is 60 minutes. The smaller the total points, the higher the ranking.

After more than two hours of fierce competition, a maximum of 109 crabs were caught in a single game.

In the end, the top three family combinations stood out. The champion and runner-up were won by a local family group from Panjin.

One group of families from Shenyang won the third place. The results are that the champion team Chen Hongbo and Wang Tingting scored 5 points; the runner-up team Hou Yingjin and Liang Xueying scored 7 points; the third runner-up team Liu Wenxuan and Xiaobai scored 7.5 points.

The chief referee of the Panjin Ice Fishing Association and the secretary-general of the City Fishing Association presented prizes and certificates to the families who won the runner-up and third runner-up. Chen Jialiang, manager of Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Wolong Lake Scenic Spot, presented the first prize and certificate to the winning family.

This competition is provided by Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry. The top three prizes (10 catties of river crabs for the champion, 5 catties of river crabs for the runner-up, and 3 catties of river crabs for the third place).

Competitors and tourists participating in the event can visit the Red Beach Science Museum and Jellyfish Museum for free on the day, and each person will be given three tickets.
