From December 7th to 8th, 2013, the "Photon Cup" table tennis competition of Panjin Table Tennis Association was successfully held at the Red Beach Sports Center in Liaodong Bay New District. The competition was hosted by Panjin Guanghe Crab Industry Co., Ltd. and Panjin Table Tennis Association , jointly organized by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, the Municipal Sports Bureau and the Red Beach Sports Center in Liaodong Bay New District.

The two-day competition is another grand event held by the Red Beach Sports Center since the 12th National Games. There are 35 teams from various enterprises, institutions and non-governmental organizations in the city. A total of 163 athletes participated in this competition. It also attracted many people to come and watch. After fierce competition, the Guanghe Crab Industry team won the first place in the men's and women's teams, Li Weilong won the men's singles championship, and Pan Ying won the women's singles championship.
