On May 25, 2015, the results of Liaoning Province's 2015 Liaoning Marine and Fishery Science and Technology Contribution Award were announced. Our company's application project ""Guanghe No. 1" New Variety Breeding and Application Promotion of River Crab" won the first prize for Liaoning Marine and Fishery Science and Technology Contribution prize. This award is to reward the units and individuals who have made contributions in marine and fishery scientific research, technology introduction, technology promotion, achievement transformation, and technology management in Liaoning Province. It is the highest award in the marine and fishery system of Liaoning Province.

After 14 years of hard work, Guanghe people have bred a new variety of river crab "Guanghe No. 1". This variety has the characteristics of high survival rate, large breeding size, strong disease resistance and strong adaptability. Through the research and development and promotion of supporting breeding technology , suitable for cultivation in paddy fields, ponds, reed ponds and reservoirs in northern my country. It solves the situation of unqualified species in the breeding of river crabs in my country, and satisfies the demand of farmers for new species. At present, the new varieties have been popularized and applied in Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Ningxia and other provinces, and achieved good economic and social benefits. With the development and promotion of this new variety and supporting technologies, the company's crab industry has also expanded rapidly, and the level of seedling and breeding has also been greatly developed. At present, "Guanghe No. 1" has been widely accepted by farmers, laying a solid foundation for the company's future development.

This project has filled the blank scientific research achievements in China and has attracted widespread attention in the domestic river crab industry.
